Sulfuric acid is a strong mineral acid with the formula H2SO4. It is a pungent-ethereal, colourless to slightly yellow viscous liquid that is soluble in water at all concentrations. Sulfuric acid is the most widely produced chemical in the world and is used in fertiliser manufacturing, oil refining, wastewater processing, and chemical synthesis.
